Elaine Edwards Blizzard

Elaine Edwards Blizzard, 82 of Wilson passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024, surrounded by her family.  A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, March 13, 2024, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Rev. Rhonda Campbell and Rev. John Check will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Elaine is survived by her sons, Greg Nichols and wife, Teresa, and Mike Nichols and Dale Flowers; sisters, Jenny Ross, Linda Mew, and Robbie Mills; several nieces and nephews and her loving extended family to include, Linda Taylor, Karen Creech, and Kaye Gibbons and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Blizzard; parents, Robert and Mary Lee Edwards; sister, Ann Strickland, and her brother, Donnie Edwards.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Hospice of Wilson, especially Allison Williams and Sheila (Lane) Stone for their kindness, care and love they gave Elaine.
