Elba Iris Medina Biggs October 26, 1944 – May 7, 2021 Elba Iris Medina Biggs, 76 of Elm City passed away Friday. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Mobley Cemetery, Bear Grass Road, Williamston. The Rev. David Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Elba is survived by her sons, Robert Daniel Biggs and wife, Dee of Kenly, David Lawrence Biggs of Bailey and Billy Len Biggs and wife, Dale of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Phillip Biggs, Derek Biggs, Rayne Biggs, Avynne Biggs, Jessica Biggs, Madison Biggs, and Noah Biggs; great-grandchildren, Donovan, Elijah, Tyler, Obie and Adam Biggs, and her brother, Gilberto Medina, Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hubert Biggs, Jr. and her parents, Gilberto Miranda Medina and Paulina Cruz Medina.
