Elizabeth Ann Herring Smith January 31, 1936 – April 19, 2020 Elizabeth Ann Smith was born in Selma, Alabama on January 31, 1936 passed into life April 19, 2020. A memorial service for Elizabeth will be held at a later date. She was preceded in death her husband, Elmer Daniel Smith, Jr. and her siblings, William Herring and Suzy Rochester both of Pensacola, Florida. Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Patrica “Patty” Burke of Gulf Breeze, Florida, her three children, Wendy and Marty Godwin of Lucama, Valerie and Robert Reiser of Greensboro and Stephen and Dana Smith of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Adam Winters of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Benjamin Tugwell and Amber Bailey of Lucama, Jen and Jessica Reiser of Greensboro, Alex and Julia Smith of Lexington and five great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Andrew Winters, Ashlyn Ritch, Logan and Addie Bailey.
