Elizabeth Boykin Bunn April 12, 1948 – August 15, 2019 Elizabeth Boykin Bunn, 71, of Wilson passed away Thursday.  Her funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Boulevard, Rocky Mount.  The Rev. Jack Stone will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Elizabeth was the owner and operator of Ultimate Tanning Salon for over thirty years.  Her favorite places to be were sitting in her rocking chair listening to Elvis on the front porch or watching fireworks from the balcony at Myrtle Beach. Elizabeth loved her family, friends and customers of Ultimate tanning.  To her everyone was treated as family, she never met a stranger.  Elizabeth will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, William “Dickie” Bunn of the home; daughter, Beth Hendricks and husband, Robin of Nashville; son, Jay Bunn of Wilson; grandsons, Calvin Bunn and Brittany of Wilson, Logan Bunn of Wilson, Grayson Hendricks of Nashville and Will Hendricks of Nashville; brothers, Ed Boykin of Wilson and Ray Boykin and wife, Kimberly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; special cousins, Sherry Boyette and her special friend, Michelle Winstead.
