Eloise Scott Aycock Barnes December 17, 1930 – September 3, 2017 Eloise Scott Aycock Barnes, 86, of Kenly passed away Sunday. Her funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Aycock Family Cemetery. The Rev. Sammy Evans will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home, 2620 Memorial Church Road, Kenly. Eloise is survived by her daughters, Connie Aycock Mayo and husband, Connie and Alice Aycock Batten and fiancé, Tony Byrd, all of Kenly; granddaughter, Michelle Batten McGinnis and husband, Patrick of Hollywood, Florida; grandson, Shelton Lee Mayo & wife, Tiffany of Morehead City; great-granddaughter, MaKenna Rose Mayo; brother, Edward Scott & wife, Virginia of Kenly. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil Gray Aycock and Murray “Bill” Barnes, Jr.; son, Brinson Gray Aycock; parents, Cleveland and Esther Scott; sister, Edith Carol Harris and her brother, Thomas Earl Scott.
