Elsie Mae Marshall Carlson November 18, 1922 – January 11, 2015 Elsie Mae Marshall Carlson, 92, of Wilson, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born in Portland, OR and resided in Wilson for 46 years. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, William; her two children, John Carlson of Leucadia, CA, and Karen Ciampa and her husband of Boca Raton, FL; her two grandsons, Eric Ciampa and his wife of Key Largo, FL, and David Ciampa and his wife of Moseley, VA; and her two great-grandsons, William Ciampa and Luca Ciampa. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at the Coastal Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery, Jacksonville, NC. For those wishing to honor Elsie’s memory, memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church Pastor’s Fund at First Christian Church, P.O. Box 2702, Wilson, NC 27894.
