Emily Joyner Foster, 90, of Raleigh passed away Saturday.  Her graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Joyner Family Cemetery, Bend of the River Road, Elm City.   The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Joyner Family Cemetery.   Emily is survived by her sons, William A. Foster, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Wendell and Thomas E. Foster and wife, Kandy of Emerald Isle; her grandsons, William B. Foster II and wife, Carolyn and Matthew T. Foster; her granddaughter, Ashley N. Foster; her great-grandsons, William B. Foster III and Kaleb Joyner Nicely; her great-granddaughter, Courtney A. Foster; her step-grandson, Bradley Markam;  her nephew, Willie Joyner and her nieces, Rose Sanders and Emily Perry.   She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Foster, Sr.; her parents, Iredell and Eva Smithson Joyner and her four brothers.   Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.   Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
