Ervin Ray Durham

Ervin Ray Durham July 8, 1934 – April 11, 2017 Ervin Ray Durham, 82, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. His funeral will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  The Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Ervin served his country with honor and pride with the U.S. Army. Ervin is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Martha “Nancy” Tedder Durham of the home; his son, Jeff Durham and wife, Dr. Susan Durham of Raleigh; his three grandchildren, who were the love of his life, Zachary, Jenna and Karli, and his sister, Doris Honeycutt of Lucama. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mamie Dawson Durham, and his brothers, James Durham and Edwin Durham.
