Eugene William Schultze, Jr. August 12, 1952 – March 10, 2016 Eugene “Bill” William Schultze, Jr., 63, of Kenly passed away Thursday. His funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Marsh Swamp OFWB Church, 6664 Rock Ridge School Road, Sims. Interment will follow in Marsh Swamp OFWB Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather “mess” and a friend to all that knew him. He was a devoted Christian man that served his Lord with all his heart. Bill will be thought of often and missed dearly. Bill is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Deborah Boykin Schultze of the home; his sons, William Jason Schultze and wife, Laura of Kenly and Jonathan Tyler Schultze and girlfriend, Lauren of Kenly; his granddaughter, Harper Elizabeth Schultze of Kenly; his brothers, Henry Neal Schultze and wife, Judy of Clayton and Paul Russell Schultze and wife, Tammy of Pine Level, and his sisters, Diana Jones Fewell and husband, David of Concord, Virginia, Freddie Jones King and husband, Jim of Topsail Island and Patricia Jones of Evans, Georgia, and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene William Schultze and Hazel Corbett Schultze; brother, Timothy James Schultze; special father, Truett Jones and a special mom, Rose Corbett Jones, and his sister, Susan Jones McLamb.
