Ezra Maxwell "Max" Fitz-Gerald, II, PHD

Ezra “Max” Maxwell Fitz-Gerald, II, PHD, 82, of Wilson passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025. A gathering of friends will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Following the gathering you are invited to the farm to help scatter Max’s cremains.

Max is survived by his wife, Della Reaves Fitz-Gerald of the home and his sister, Brenda White Jones of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Mary Elizabeth Fitz-Gerald, and his brother, Gregory White.
