Flora Jean Stancil

Flora Jean Stancil October 17, 1947 – October 7, 2018 Flora Jean Stancil, 70 of Wilson joined her fellow Angels on Sunday. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Inurnment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The family will receive friends Saturday morning at 10 a.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Flora is survived by her daughters, Tracey S. Duke and husband, Chad of Wilmington and Nancy Spivey and husband, Jeff Hackney of Atlanta, Georgia; granddaughters, Tori Duke and Dawn Duke both of Wilmington; sister, Dianne Bailey and husband, Ralph of Wilson; brother, Steve Stancil and wife, Karen of Wilson and her special friends, Luther and Carol Wall. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shayne Poythress and her parents, Josiah Fernie Stancil and Doris Scott Stancil.
