Frances Rose Aycock

Frances Rose Aycock, 82, of Wilson, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, February 22, 2025. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Aycock Family Cemetery, 2101 West NC Hwy 222, Fremont. Rev. Aubrey Williamson and Rev. Cliff Lewin will officiate, and Gloria Gill will be sharing thoughts.

 The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, February 26, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

 Frances is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Aycock of Rocky Mount, and Beverly Aycock of Wilson; the father of her children, Lewis Aycock of Wilson; son, Jeff Edwards and wife, Melinda of Elm City, and daughter, Sharon Bowden of Spiveys Corner; grandchildren, Jerica Spell of Knoxville, Tennessee, Julia Braswell and husband, Trey of Spring Hope, Harrison Edwards of Elm City, and Michaela Herring and husband, Nicky of Autryville; great-granddaughter, Avery; her brother, Wilton Parrish of Fremont, and several nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Lerory and Alice Parrish; sisters, Emmie Pittman, Ellen Evans, Mildred Merritt, Edna Holmes, Elgia Parrish, Dorothy Parrish, and Carolyn Parrish and her brothers, Archie Parrish, Gurney Parrish and Paul Parrish.
