Frances Honeycutt High

Frances Honeycutt High, 83, of Wilson passed away Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Steve Stephenson will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at 211 Forest Hills Road. Frances is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Alfred High of the home; her daughter, Rebecca Ann High of Wilson; her nieces, Anne K. Webb of Cape Carteret and Justine Webb Newcomb and husband, Donald of Wilson; her nephews, John W.R. Webb and wife, Marjorie of Louisville, KY, David Maryland Webb of Wilson, Walter Rex Stancil of Wilson and Jesse B. Honeycutt and wife, Kathy of Goldsboro; her goddaughters, Jennifer Sawyer Moore and husband, Michael of Jacksonville, FL and Lisa Sawyer Giarmono and husband, Anthony of Suffolk, VA and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Oscar Honeycutt and Annie Delia “Dolly” Langley Honeycutt; her sister, Kathleen Honeycutt Webb and Willie Honeycutt Stancil Moore and her brother, David Allen Honeycutt.
