Frances Clark Williams August 2, 1918 - January 30, 2016 Frances Clark Williams, 97, of Greenville passed away Saturday. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Road, Wilson. The Rev. Kara Swartz will officiate. Frances is survived by her daughters, Kay Williams Yount of Highlands and Deborah Williams Little of Greenville; her sons, Melvin John “Johnny” Williams, Jr. of Greenville, Steven Clark Williams of Greenville, and Eric Stanton Williams of Charlotte; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and her half-sister, Kathleen Clark Sullivan of Rocky Mount. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin John Williams, Sr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Frances’ memory to the Hooker Memorial Christian Church, 1111 Greenville Boulevard SE, Greenville, North Carolina 27858.
