Franklin Roosevelt -Frank- Nichols, 78, of Wilson passed away Thursday.-Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.-/p>

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home.

Frank retired as an Assistant Manager with Roses after 22 -years.-He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.-He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Frank is survived by his wife, Iris Williams Nichols of Wilson; his daughter, Nancy Carolyn Nichols of Wilson; his son, Joseph Franklin Nichols of Wilson and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul B. and Mary Vick Nichols; one sister and ten brothers.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to a charity of one-s choice.
