Fred Carter Pridgen

Fred Carter Pridgen July 2, 1928 – December 1, 2015 Fred Carter Pridgen, 87, of Elm City, passed away Tuesday. His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Pastor Leo Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Fred is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Doris Pridgen of the home; his daughters, Frieda Westberg and husband, Gary, and Audrey Edwards and husband, Randy; his son, Wesley Pridgen and wife, Donna; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and his sisters, Dora Jane Joyner, and Huldah Hart all of Elm City.
