Fred Rago, Jr., 71, of Elm City passed away Thursday. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 224 South Glendale Avenue, Rocky Mount. Bennie Wyatt will officiate. Fred is survived by his wife, Johannas Rago of the home; his daughter, Patricia Battle of Rocky Mount; his sister, Andrea Searles and husband, David of Colorado and his brother, Paul Rago and wife, Elsa of California.
