Garry Bissette

Garry Bissette February 21, 1947 – May 29, 2018 Garry Bissette, 71, of Bailey passed away Tuesday. His funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Pastor Jeffrey Westerfield will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 11 – 11:45 a.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, and other times at the home. Garry was a loving husband, grandfather, brother and a friend to all who knew him. He served his country with honor and pride with the US Army. Garry will be missed and thought of often with wonderful memories. Garry is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Debbie L. Bissette of the home; his sons, Chris Bissette and wife, Angela, and Tracy Bissette and wife, Marsha both of Bailey; his grandchildren, Erica Bradley, Harley Bissette, Dylan Bissette, Brittany Bissette, and Austin Bissette; and his sisters, Jeanette Ferrell and husband, Wesley of Wilson, and Vickie Bunn and husband, Mack of Spring Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Grace Bissette.
