Gary Wayne Batchelor

Gary Wayne Batchelor February 27, 1969 – May 12, 2017 Gary Wayne “Groovy” Batchelor, 48, of Elm City passed away Friday. A private graveside will be conducted.  The Rev. Gene Wells will officiate. Gary is survived by his sister, Lisa Stancil of Wilson; sisters-in-law, Beverly Batchelor of Wilson and Vickie Driver of Lancaster, Texas; his nieces, Nikki Stancil, Ashley Willis, Jenna Batchelor, and Terri Tablante; nephews, Aaron Hicks, Sean Howard, and Stephen Howard; his great nephews, Declan Howard, Dakota Howard, and Xander Tablante; his aunts, Bonnie Whitley and husband, Tony, Phyllis Britt and husband, Danny, Gerry Keel, and Lou Batchelor, and his uncle, Phil Baker and wife, Jan. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley Batchelor and Peggy Baker Batchelor; sister, Pam Hicks, and his brothers, Danny Howard, and Mike Batchelor.
