Gary Lee Batts December 2, 1952 – November 12, 2015 Gary Lee Batts, 62, of Gallatin, Tennessee, formerly of Wilson, passed away Thursday. His funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Rex Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Kent and Martha, 5274 Old Stantonsburg Road, Wilson. Gary is survived by his wife, Janice Taylor Batts, of the home; his daughters, Kendra Batts of Wilson, and Carrie Taylor Romick of Wilson; grandchildren, Jasmine, Kayla, Raven, Joey and Summer; his sister, Lois Westbrook of Blount’s Creek, and a brother, Bobby Batts of Elm City.
