Gary Wayne Issette

Gary Wayne Issette January 19, 1953 – March 19, 2019 Gary Wayne Issette, 66, of Wilson went to be with his savior on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.  A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Peace Church, 2838 Tilghman Road, North, Wilson.  The Rev. Rusty Russell will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon prior to the service from 2 – 2:45 p.m. at Peace Church, Wilson. Gary was born January 19, 1953 in Wilson, son of William and Josephine Vick Issette. He was active member of Peace Church.  He loved life and helping people learn more about Christ. Gary taught the young minds at Wilson Christian Academy about finance. Gary is survived by his son, Glenn Issette and wife, Janna of Wilson; grandson, Grant Issette of Wilson; his sisters, Sandra Vick and husband, Edwin of Rocky Mount and Vicky Vick and husband, Larry of Greenville; his niece, Kelsey and nephews, Jonathan and Tyler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie I. Issette.
