Gaye B. Parks December 6, 1931 – April 29, 2020 Gaye B. Parks, 88 of Wilson, formerly of Hamlet passed away Wednesday. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The Rev. Chris Greenwood will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Gaye loved sports, gardening, quilting and volunteering for numerous charities. Gaye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Gaye is survived by her sons, Michael T. Parks and wife, Becky of Raleigh and Barry G. Parks and wife, Cissy of Wilson; granddaughters, Amanda G. Swensen and husband, Jason of Garner, Lori P. Eldredge and husband, Michael of Wilson and Sara C. Parks of Wilson; great-granddaughters, Everleigh Swensen of Garner, Cora Swensen of Garner and Adalynn Eldredge of Wilson; great-grandson, Lincoln Swensen of Garner; sisters, Dorothy Watters and husband, Larry of Fallston, Maryland and Barbara Jolly and husband, Buck of Elizabeth City and her brother, Mike Bullis of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Parks and her brothers, Bill Bullis, Bob Bullis and Jack Bullis.
