Gaylord Keith Daughety
December 19, 1942 – June 5, 2020
Gaylord Keith Daughety, 77 of Wilson passed away Friday. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Wilson Industrial Airport, Hanger D, 4541 Airport Drive, Wilson.
Keith was a loving man, husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to all that knew him. He served his country with honor from 1967 - 1969 during the Vietnam War. Keith was the President of EAA Chapter 1047 of Wilson Industrial Airport. He loved building his own airplane, riding his Harley and photography. Keith will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories.
Keith is survived by his wife, Linda Wallace Daughety; daughter, Katharyn D. Capps of Zebulon; son, Brian Keith Daughety of Nashville; granddaughter, Chelsea Nicole Bryan of Raleigh; grandsons, Johnathan Capps of Wake Forest and Cameron Bailey Capps of Zebulon; great-grandson, Carter Reid Capps; sister, Sue Daughety Hinojos of Spindale and his brother, Morgan Daughety of Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Gaylord and Edna Rouse Daughety.
