Gene Michael Carlyle, 65, of Lucama passed away Thursday.-A private service will be held for Mike.

Michael served his country honorably with the U.S. Navy.

Michael is survived by his wife, Brenda Lamm Carlyle of the home; his son, Gene Michael Carlyle, Jr. of Bladen County; his step-daughters, Michelle Raper and Terri Raper both of Lucama and his brother, Lindsey L. Carlyle, Jr. of Bladen County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey L. Carlyle and Cora Lee Stanley Carlyle.
