Georgia Bass O’Briant

Georgia Bass O’Briant November 3, 1948 – April 22, 2021 Georgia Bass O’Briant, 72 of Walstonburg passed away Thursday. A memorial service will held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Howell’s Swamp FWB Church, Walstonburg. Georgia was an active member of the Greene County Interfaith Missions, a member of Howell’s Swamp FWB Church and the Walstonburg American Legion Auxiliary. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. Georgia will be dearly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories and known for her infectious smile. Georgia is survived by her husband, William Robert O’Briant; daughters, Amanda Lane Vick of Walston burg, Mary Alice Davis and husband, Allen of Black Creek, Nancy Crowder and husband, Gary of Bailey, and Melissa Poole of Elm City; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and her brother, Willie G.
