Geraldine Langley Bailey September 18, 1931 – May 22, 2015 Geraldine Langley Bailey, 83, of Elm City passed away Friday. Her funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends 10 – 10:45 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Susan B. Garris of Rock Ridge and Barbara Bailey (Perry Watson) of Lucama; her sons, Donnie Bailey, Jr. (Michelle) of Granite Falls and Larry Bailey, (Brenda) of Anderson, South Carolina; her granddaughters, Meghanne Garris, Peyton Garris both of Rock Ridge, and Danielle Scheuer (AJ) of Anderson, South Carolina; her grandsons, Brad Bailey and Sean Bailey both of Carlsbad, California and Doug Bailey (Jennifer) of Charlotte; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Becky Phillips of Wilson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Lee Bailey, Sr.; her parents, Vance Thomas Langley, Sr. and Nora Lee Langley Parker; two sisters and one brother.
