Glenda Pike Gates

Glenda Pike Gates December 17, 1940 - November 29, 2015 Glenda Pike Gates, 74, of Black Creek, passed away Sunday. Her memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson Praise and Worship, 202 Nash Street, NE, Wilson. The Pastor Randy Jenkins will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Glenda is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Jimmy Gates of Black Creek; her daughter, Beth Gates Langley and husband, Keith of Rocky Mount; her sons, Larry Gates of Archers Lodge, Chris Gates and fiancé, Gwyen Bradley of Black Creek, and Greg Gates and wife, Kelly of Black Creek; her nine grandchildren; sisters, Joan Barnes of Rocky Mount, and Patricia Hooks Skinner of Durham, and her sister-in-law, Vivian Pike. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan R. and Louise Flowers Pike, and brother, Donnie Pike.
