Gordon Ray Wiggs April 18, 1943 – September 20, 2018 Gordon Ray Wiggs, 75, of Wilson passed away Thursday. His funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Chuck Gentry will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 – 6:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Betty Godwin Wiggs of the home; his sons, Andy Wiggs and wife, Angela of Wilson and Jason Wiggs of Nashville; grandchildren, Tyler Ford, Jordan Wiggs, and Conner, Jay, Cassie and Mallory Wiggs; sister, Janice Grant and husband, Billy of Tennessee and his brother, Kirby Wiggs and wife, Scarlett of Elm City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd B. and Esther Whitley Wiggs.
