Grace Pate Brinkley, 79, of Wilson passed away Thursday.   Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyner's Funeral Home.   Interment will follow in Eason Family Cemetery, Hwy 96.   The Pastor Daniel Parker will officiate.

The family will receive friends 12:30 -2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home of Carol Brinkley, 5723 Holden's Crossroads, Wilson.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Loretta ??Sue-Brinkley Davis and husband, Phillip of Nashville; son, Tim Brinkley of Stantonsburg; her sisters, Marie Cockrell of Sharpsburg and Brenda Mitchell and husband, Woodrow of Clayton and daughters-in-law, Carol Brinkley of Wilson and Helen Brinkley of Elm City;   her 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Royster Brinkley, Sr.; sons, Arthur Thelton Brinkley, Sr. and James Royster Brinkley, Jr. and Rodney Glenn Brinkley; sister, Christine Kelly and brother, Ralph Pate and grandson, T.J. Brinkley.
