Gregory Allen Turnage, 61 of Wilson passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Boulevard, Wilson. Private family interment. Rev. Joe Shakour will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Greg is survived by his daughters, Nikki Turnage of Wilmington, and Jamie Turnage Darroch and husband, Marshall of Wilmington; son, David Turnage and wife, Morgan of Wilson; grandchildren, Luke Darroch, Logan Darroch, Stella Darroch, Caroline Turnage, Ella Grace Turnage, and Elijah Turnage; mother, Nancy B. Turnage of Wilson; sister, Teresa Finch and husband, Dennis of Wilson, and his fiancé, Vicki Mercer of Wilson and her children, Bridget Mercer of Nashville, Tennessee and son, Stephen Wade Mercer and wife, Sherry of Bunn.

Preceded in death by his father, Leonard Turnage.
