Guy "Reggie" Reginald Hazelwood

Guy Reginald Hazelwood October 13, 1940 – July 19, 2019 Guy “Reggie” Hazelwood, 78 of Bailey passed away Friday.  His funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 3967 W Hornes Church Road, Bailey.  A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Bailey Town Cemetery.  Pastor Hal Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 7 p.m. at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Bailey and other times at the home. Reggie was born in Pell City, Alabama to William and Margie Hazelwood.  He served his country with honor and pride with the US Army.  Reggie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all who knew him.  He will be dearly missed and thought of often with loving memories. Reggie is survived by his loving wife of thirty-two years, Nancy Spires Hazelwood of the home; daughters, Marlene Watson and husband, Gene of Spring Hope and Karen Tuz and husband, Steve of Mooresville; granddaughter, Dr. Jinni Meeham and husband, Chris Kay; grandsons, Justin Williams and Becca, Christopher Watson, Matthew Watson and Bill Meeham, Jr. and wife, Jodie and great-grandchildren, Miss Emily Watson and Charlotte Kay. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, The Benevolence Fund, 3967 W Hornes Church Road, Bailey, North Carolina 27807.
