Harold Douglas Denton

Harold Douglas Denton, 85 of Middlesex passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024.   Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.

Harold is survived by his sons, Greg Denton and wife, Deborah, Scottie Denton and wife, Cathy, Robbie Denton and wife, Patricia all of Middlesex, and Stephen Denton and wife, Robin of Bailey; grandchildren, Alexandra Denton, Brandon Denton and wife, Casey, Christopher Denton and wife, Holly, Joshua Denton, Jonathan Denton and fiancée, Haley; great-grandchildren, Emmalee Kuhl, Garrett Kuhl, Dawson Denton, and Evie Denton; sisters, Louise Sanders of Spring Hope, and Mildred “Millie” Vick of Smithfield, and his brother, Kenneth Denton and wife, Jeanine of Spring Hope.  Many loving nieces, nephews, his close friends, and Drag Racing family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Diane Griffin Denton; parents, C.C. and Bertha Denton, and his brother, John L. Denton.
