Harold Taylor

Harold “Jabo” Taylor, 87 of Wilson passed away Friday, December 15, 2023.  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023 in Williams Family Cemetery, 3768 Bend of the River Road, Elm City.  Pastor John Check will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Harold served his country with honor and pride with the United States Army and he was a lifelong farmer.

Harold is survived by his sons, Renny H. Taylor and wife, Leslie of Wilson, Ronnie L. Taylor and wife, Krystle of Asheville, and Ricky L. Taylor and wife, Carla of Raleigh; grandchildren, Marques Taylor (Angela Allred), Matthew Taylor (Courtney Whitley), and Lucas Taylor; great-grandchild, Kinsley Taylor; brothers, James Holland and Andy Holland both of Elm City, and his sisters, Effie Lamm and Janice Killabrew both of Wilson, and Patricia Braswell of Elm City.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Taylor.
