Harriett Moore Page, 80, of Wilson, passed away Sunday. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 311 Nash Street N., Wilson.

 

 Harriett was born in Nash County on March 27,1941 to Kathleen Hollingsworth Moore and Joseph Moore. February 1944 was one of her many blessed days she became the daughter of Edna Ruth and Pete Thompson of Wilson, NC.

 

 She was raised in The First Baptist Church here in Wilson, where she enjoyed the love of her church and was active in many groups. She later graduated with the first graduating class of Ralph L. Fike High School in 1959. This same year she married her long loved sweetheart, Harvey Page. Harriett enjoyed many years sewing and appliquéing works of art. She made dolls and pillows for years where she sold them in different shows and shops in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. Art and quilting brought pleasure for many years with taking classes and traveling abroad that created dear friendships to last a lifetime.

 

 Harriett is survived by daughters, Eles Skinner (Rodney) and Cathy Daniel (Randy); granddaughters, Charity-Ruth Nichols (Ken) and Catherine-Lee Jenkins (Brittany); great-granddaughters, Paige, Anna-Eles, Georgia-Moon, and Daylee-Ann; great-grandson, Nash; brothers, Jim Moore (Linda), Ralph Poe (Mary Lou); her sweet cat Tucker as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

 She is preceded in death by her husband, O. Harvey Page and parents, Edna Ruth and Pete Thompson; Kathleen Poe and James Moore.
