Harvey Ronald Evans March 19, 1946 – January 7, 2018 Harvey Ronald Evans, 71, of Lucama passed away Sunday. His funeral will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. A private graveside service will be held for the family. The Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home and other times at the home. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Janice Pennington Evans of the home; his daughter, Amy L. Evans of Wilson and special friend, Eric Kearney; his son, Andy R. Evans and wife, Melissa of Bailey; his grandson, Brandon C. Evans, and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Mildred Godwin Evans; one sister, and two brothers.
