Helen Hawley Baker Ousnamer July 27, 1947 – January 6, 2015
Helen Hawley Baker Ousnamer, 67, of Wilson, passed away Tuesday. A funeral service will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Dr. De Eakes will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Helen is survived by her son, Dwayne Baker and wife, Krystal of Wilson; her grandson, Benjamin David Baker of Wilson; her step-daughter, Kristin Yates of Kinston; her granddaughter, Rayleigh Goff of Kinston; her sister, Sidney “Tippy” Winstead and husband, Marion of Newport; her brothers Marvin Hawley and wife, JoAnn of Rocky Mount and Rufus Hawley and wife, Betty of Nashville; her niece, Rhonda Stanley and husband, Barry of Kenly; her nephew, Robert “Bob” Winstead and partner, Rick LaRose of Raleigh; her great niece, Sidney Stanley of Kenly, and great nephews, Luke Stanley of Kenly and Dillon Hawley of Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Gertrude Bass Hawley, and her nephew, Ray Hawley.
