Henry Wade Gardner, Jr. September 29, 1952 – August 29, 2016 Henry “Hank” Wade Gardner, Jr., 63, of Black Mountain passed away Monday. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Place, Wilson. “Hank” is survived by his sister, Shirley G. Keeter and husband, Allen of Washington; his niece, Allison K. Hanchey of Washington; nephew, Stephen Keeter and wife, Amy of Garner; grand-nephews, Austin Hanchey of Washington and Emmitt Keeter of Garner, and grand-niece, Delilah Keeter of Garner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wade Gardner and Edith Marie Jordan Gardner. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
