Herbert "Leamon" Jones

Herbert “Leamon” Jones, Jr., 81 of Black Creek passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, October 10, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. A private burial for the family will be held at a later date.

 “Leamon” was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

 “Leamon” is survived by his wife, Linda Diane Jones; sons, Bobby Jones and wife, Suzi, Michael Jones and wife, Sherri, and David Jones and wife, Mary; grandsons, Hayden Jones and wife, Christina, Ethan Jones and wife, Mary, Ryan Jones and wife, Jara, Corey Jones, and Lane Jones; granddaughters, Zoey Jones and fiancé, Tyler Rogers, and Krista Jones; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Jones, Jade Jones and Lennon Jones; great-grandsons, Isaiah Jones, John Jones, Dawson Jones, and Grayson Jones; sisters, Judy Jones and Nona Golden and husband, Allen.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Leamon Jones, Sr. and Rosa Lee Jones Paige; and great-granddaughter, Madalynn Jones.
