Hilda Marie Whitfield Petty

Hilda Marie Whitfield Petty, 74 of Wilson passed away Friday, December 15, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Boulevard W, Wilson.  Pastor Joe Shakour will officiate.

Hilda is survived by her sons, Jamie Lamm and wife, Maria of South Carolina, and Dwayne Lamm and wife, Joyce of Fremont; daughter, Kansas Ferrell and husband, William, Jr. of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Megan Lamm Irons, Matthew Lamm, Andrew Lamm, Madison Lamm and William Ferrell, III; great-grandchild, Ezra Irons, and her sisters, Sandra W. Mincey and Gail Sexton both of Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Petty, and her parents, Norwood Ray Whitfield and Gladys Virginia Whitfield.
