Hilda Marie Tew November 9, 1959 – February 23, 2019 Hilda Marie Tew, 59, of Wilson passed away Saturday.  Her funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson.  The Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Hilda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Boykin of Wilmington; sons, Scott Abrams and wife, Elizabeth of Rocky Mount, Jason Boykin and wife, Erin of Wilmington and Alex Boykin and wife, Taylor of Louisburg; grandchildren, Olivia, Celeste, Alyssa, Antonio, Hailey, Cody, Hollie, Nathan, Amber, Tyler, Colton, Ella, Brylee and Josie; great-grandchild, Jayden; sisters, Lisa Tew of Lake Gaston and Laura Connie of Rocky Mount and her brothers, Finis Tucker of Pinetops, Phillip Doughtie of Falkland and Robert Tew of Efland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waylon Ollie Boykin; parents, Robert Harrison Tew and Peggy June Doughtie and her brother, Tony Tew.
