Hilda Vaughn Williams September 16, 1945 – January 1, 2017 Hilda Vaughn “Tootsie” Williams, 71, of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Tommy Hagens will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:45 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. “Tootsie” is survived by her daughters, Connie Jean Vaughn of Wilson, Teresa Jimenez of Fremont, and Angie Kinsler of Pikeville; her sons, Kenneth Edward Vaughn of Wilson and Joey Williams of Pikeville; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Lou Webb of Wilson and Patricia Jo Owens of Wilson, and her brother, James Allen Whitehead of Sims.
