Howard Allen Caton
April 17, 1937 – November 20, 2015
Howard Allen Caton, 78, of Wilson passed away Friday. His funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 612 Vance Street NE, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Pastor John Drosendahl will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon 3 – 5 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Howard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him. He worked as a dyeing supervisor for Collins and Aikman for twenty-two years and worked for twelve years with White’s Tire Service. He had a great sense of humor and was a fun loving people person. Howard is loved and will be greatly missed.
Howard is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Helen Shealy Caton of the home; his daughter, Indra Caton Eatmon and husband, James of Macon; his son, Michael Caton of Wilson; his granddaughters, Holly Nicole Eatmon of Pinehurst and Taylor Annette Eatmon of Chapel Hill; his grandson, John Wesley Eatmon of Macon, and Harley, his loving dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.T. and Eva Ezzell Caton Noe.
