Hoyt Jerome -Jay- Shealy, 71, of Wilson passed away Thursday.-Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.-The Rev. Elwood Long will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at 4517 Chandler Drive, Wilson.

Jay was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.-  His memories will live forever in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be missed and thought of often.-He was a member and past master with Masonic Lodge #712.

Jay is survived by his wife, Vickie Cayton Shealy of the home; his daughters, Beth Shealy Parker and husband, Chris of Wilson and Brenda Shealy Jones and husband, Dwayne of Wilson; his son, Robert Jerome -Bobby- Shealy and wife, Kate of Wilson; his grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Megan Parker, Victoria Jones, Andie Shealy, Madison Parker, Richard -RJ- Shealy and Noah Parker and his brother, Paul Shealy and wife, Willie Mae of Newberry, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Grady Shealy and Marzelle Fulmer Shealy; his grandchild, Bailey Christine Parker and his brother, Sam Shealy.
