Ian Thomas Price February 12, 2005 – October 9, 2020 Ian Thomas Price, 15 of Middlesex passed away Friday, October 9, 2020. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Boulevard NW, Wilson. Interment to follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex. The Rev. Dann Patrick and Rev. Jonathan Ange will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at 9192 New Sandy Hill Church Road, Middlesex. Ian was a tenth-grade student at Southern Nash Senior High School. He loved to fish, hunt, and play golf. Ian enjoyed helping others and was a happy young man, who was greatly loved and will be thought of many times with memories that will make you smile. Ian will be dearly missed. Ian is survived by his parents, Thomas and Candace Newcomb Price of the home; sister, Blair Price of the home; paternal grandparents, Donnie K. Price, Sr. and Shirley M. Price of Middlesex; Milford Glenn and Elizabeth Gaynelle Newcomb of Goldsboro; uncles and aunts, Richard Allan Newcomb and wife, Robin, Larry Price and wife, Cindy, Ronnie Price and wife, Kathy, Wayne Price and wife, Ellen, Donna Duncan and husband, Terry, David Price and wife, Sharon and Rev. Donnie Price and wife, Tracy; several cousins and his mentor and hunting buddy, Alan Stephenson. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Inez Newcomb; great aunt, Kay Ludlum; great uncle, Frank Newcomb and his cousin, Jason Ray Price.
