Ida Mae Shelton Pate April 22, 1922 – April 4, 2018 Ida Mae Shelton Pate, 95, of Stantonsburg passed away Wednesday. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The Rev. Julius Whitley will officiate. Ida is survived by her daughter, Linda Carraway of Whitakers; her son, Todd Carraway and wife, Debra of Stantonsburg, and great-granddaughter, Marley Winstead. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ida Shelton; daughter, Karen Pate, and a son, Luby Jackson “Jackie” Pate. Condolences may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home at www.joyners.net.
