Ida Mae Baker Webb, 89, of Wilson peacefully passed away Monday surrounded by her family.  Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lonnie Humphery will officiate.  A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, and other times at the home of Dexter and Sue Webb. Ida Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.  She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.  Ida Mae was a devoted Christian that loved her church and served her Lord. Surviving are three daughters, Sylvia Davis and husband, Bobby of Charlottesville, VA, Judith Webb of Nashville, TN, and Deborah Exum and husband, Len of Wilmington; two sons, Dexter Webb and wife, Sue of Bailey, and Wayne Webb of Wilson; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Felton of Wilson; and two brothers, William “Bill” Baker and James Baker and wife, Ann, all of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wright Webb; her son, Mickey Webb; her parents, Wright and Ruth Cobb Baker; five sisters, Rosa Carter, Betty Newcomb, Anne Jones, Christine Ball, and Elizabeth Baker; and one brother, Walter “Bud” Baker.
