Irene Murray Skinner

Irene Murray Skinner June 23, 1920 – December 18, 2018 Irene Murray Skinner, 98, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Angel Padilla and Chaplin Tim Hopkins will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Irene is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Norville and husband, Bobby, Pauline Neal and husband, Fred, Eloise Gurganus and husband, Shelton and Peggy Bunn and husband, Gerald all of Wilson, Brenda Hill and husband, Billy of Lubbock, Texas and Becky Etheridge of Sims; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Skinner and her son-in-law, Johnny Etheridge.
