James Ray Allen March 30, 1933 – April 2, 2020 James Ray Allen, 87 of Wilson passed away Thursday. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Donnie Price will officiate. James is survived by his wife, Margaret Allen of the home; sisters, Marjorie Fields and husband, Harry of Kinston, Jenny Privette and husband, Tommy of Liberty, Shirley Baker and husband, Lewis of Pinetops, Cathy Holland of Wilson and Ruby Wooten and husband, Lee of Rocky Mount; brothers, Roney F. Allen of Wilson; Billy Allen and wife, Faye of Richmond, Virginia, Johnny Allen and wife, Almeta of Lillington and E.R. Allen and wife, Thelma of Burlington and several nieces and nephews.
