James Frederick Denton June 23, 1947 – May 16, 2019 James Frederick Denton, 71, of Spring Hope passed away Thursday.  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hayes Family Cemetery, Claude Lewis Road, Middlesex. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. James is survived by his children, Ricky Denton of Acworth, Georgia, Debby Denton Brooks of Spring Hope, Paul Denton of Sutton North Dakota and Mike Denton of Mapleton, Iowa; sister, Louise Creech of Kenly; brother, Bobby Denton of Fuquay; grandchildren, Jacob Denton, Josh Denton, Rian Denton, Britnee Lewis, Ashley Brooks, Dana Brooks, Noah Denton, Mathew Denton, James Frederick Denton, II, Jade Denton, Savannah Denton, Bailey Melby, Bowdie Melby, Blane Melby and Chloe Melby and six great-grandchildren.
