James Edward Brewster died on March 3, 2013 at his home on Sunnybrook Road in Wilson.-Born on November 23, 1956 at Iaeger, WV, he was the firstborn son of the late Charles and Truly (Bevill) Brewster.-James was born with special needs but also with an endless capacity of love which helped him overcome many of the challenges in his life.-He was a truly special person who touched many lives and taught his family the meaning of determination, faith and acceptance.

A 1978 graduate of Iaeger High School, James went on to learn life skills that led him to an independent residential program where he lived for many years.-He enjoyed being with his family, doing puzzles and crafts, gardening and learning all about alligators.

Left to forever cherish the memories of him are his loving sister, Deb Pabst and her husband, Bob, his brother-in-law and best friend and his beloved niece Debbie Pabst, all of Wilson; his sister, Delores Brewster of Fayetteville, and her children, Chelsea Pace of Fayetteville and Luther Pace of Buffalo, NY, his sister-in-law Jackie Foley and nephews Charles and Levi Brewster of Chattanooga, TN, and his very special uncle and aunt Big Daddy Dean and Marcel Brewster of Lansdale, PA

A private celebration of his life will be held at his home.
